Description
ミニマルなデザインを目指し辿り着いたオリジナルデザインです。ともすれば手をさらに加えたい衝動を抑え、シンプルに徹しています。それでいて特徴的なフォルムを実現しました。 飛騨高山の原木・原皮から丁寧に管理し、素材管理にこだわっています。木材の乾燥は人工高温乾燥により成分の流失・変性があり、できる限り天然乾燥のみでゆっくり乾燥しています。 革は岐阜が誇る飛騨牛の皮を使用して2017年、当工房で開発した家具用革HIDA Leather®の黒染めです。顔料による塗装をせず、染色のみで仕上げています。そのため自然なシボ（シワ）であるナチュラルマークを感じることのできるナチュラルレザーです。 シート内部にもこだわり、ケミカルなウレタンフォームを使用せず、天然素材のみ（パーム椰子繊維やコットン）でシートをつくっています。 座面のベースに使用する木材は姫子松（プリンセスパイン）で、人の精神を安定させる成分を持っており、ゆっくりと放散します。 使用する木材は全て、微細放散成分を活かすため、導管を潰して塞いでしまうサンダー仕上げはせず、鉋などの伝統的な手道具を使い、木材本来の美しさを引き出す仕上げをしています。 放散成分を活用するため原則素地仕上げの無塗装をおすすめしますが、ただしご要望があれば自家製蜜蝋ワックス塗装仕上げにも対応いたします（工房敷地内でニホンミツバチの養蜂をしています）。
This is an original design that has arrived aiming for a minimal design. If possible, We keep it simple. We carefully manage the logs and hides of Hida Takayama, and are particular about material management. Imported wood is obliged to be disinfected with methyl bromide both at the time of departure and at the time of entry, and no residue has been investigated. Therefore, the drying of wood causes the components to be gone away and denatured due to kiln drying. It is only natural dried lowly. The leather is a black dyed leather, HIDA Leather® for furniture that we developed in 2017 using Hida beef hides that our region’s people is proud of. It is finished by dyeing only, without painting with pigments. Therefore, it is a natural leather that allows you to feel the natural marks that are natural wrinkles. We are particular about the inside of the seat and do not use urethane foam, but only natural materials (palm fiber and cotton) are used to make the seat. The wood used for the base of the seat is princess pine, which has substances that stabilizes the human mind and slowly releases. Since all the wood used makes use of the fine extractives, it does not have a sander finish that crushes and closes the conduit, but uses Japanese traditional hand tools such as ‘Kanna’ to finish the original beauty of the wood. As a general rule, we recommend unpainted finish in order to utilize the fine extractives, but we can also handle homemade beeswax finish if you request (we are beekeeping Japanese bees on the premises of the workshop).
